All Time Low ft. Mayday Parade, Four Year Strong, and The Paradox in Boston 11/22&11/23
November 27, 2025
I didn't start listening to All Time Low until this year, so there were some INTENSE NEGOTIATIONS with my husband to get him to agree to two nights in a row. We've got him for life now.
Setlists listed are all from setlist.fm. No, my memory isn't that good.
Venue
This show was at MGM, which I had never been to. The first night was sold out. Even at its most operationally slammed the venue was pretty good, as long as you didn't want to buy merch. The front of house was pretty packed with the merch lines wrapping up stairs. They had workers denoting the ends of the lines, at least. We got there right at doors and it took about half an hour for us to get through security and to our seats. Visibility was perfect from both the seats (first night) and the floor(second night). Balcony seating was steep and tight so if you want to dance around definitely just do GA.
I didn't bother with the bar but the french fries smelled amazing. I did not bother to see if they were safe for me to eat.
Sound was great! But All Time Low always sounds good.
I'd go to this venue again, no questions.
The Show
The Paradox
Setlist.fm doesn't have a complete setlist and I didn't particularly like them so I'm not bothering here.
Impression
Having The Paradox open was certainly...a choice. Part of why I'm enjoying going back to the pop-punk and emo classics of my youth is that everyone's brain has developed and they're a lot less annoying, but The Paradox seems to have made that early 2000's irritating sex banter their entire personality. All of the talking during the set was the following format: a sexual comment about one of the members, telling each other to shut the fuck up, something about a woman. Rinse and repeat.
They sounded fine, I guess. Although the singer's guitar came unplugged during a song and I couldn't hear the difference.
We skipped their set for night two. Sorry.
Four Year Strong
Another incomplete setlist on setlist.fm
I thought FYS sounded good, but not my thing. I really enjoyed watching the crowd from a safe distance from my nosebleed seats. So many surfers. Moshing. Maybe the largest circle pit I've ever seen (and shoutout to the venue for having that kind of circle pit room at a sold out show! I love when we respect the fire code.)
We skipped them the second night because there was no way my little easily overstimulated body could be down in that mess. It wasn't personal. I'm planning to go through their discography sometime and see how I feel about them.
Mayday Parade
SetlistI am assuming this is for both nights because there's not anything different on setlist.fm for Sunday.

I'd Hate to Be You When People Find Out What This Song Is About

Jamie All Over
I tried so hard to get into Mayday Parade before this concert. I was only really familiar with their song Jamie All Over and their Somebody That I Used To Know cover prior to buying tickets. I went through their entire discography and I honestly think my time on antidepressants was too successful to really get into them.
I have such mixed feelings about them after seeing them. Night 1 I was like, oh wow, they're so much better live than I expected. Night 2 I thought they sounded awful and couldn't wait for it to be over. Was it me? Was it the location? Was it a bad night for them? I'll never know.
All Time Low
This is the only photo I took on Night 2 because the floor is for screaming.

Impression Night One
It was a little lame to be seated for All Time Low. I really preferred my time on the floor on Sunday, but I wanted to see the openers the first night and doing a double while standing was too much. It may have just been the shows themselves too, because even people who were in GA for both nights said that the crowd on Sunday was more fun.
Setlist was a total banger. I suspected they might play Sugar for us because there was speculation on Reddit, but I was 100% not expecting Remembering Sunday.
Weightless, Lost in Stereo, and Backseat Serenade are some of my favorites so I was a happy girl.
Night Two
This was 100% the most fun I've ever had at a concert. I love this band. I love everyone else that was in the room. Buying tickets for two nights felt a little silly but why NOT see your favorite band four times in one year if they keep coming to your city?
If anyone needs me I'll be working on my squats so I can plop someone on my shoulders the next time they play Boston.
