Assassin's Creed is an action/stealth/parkour game created by Ubisoft. Is it my favorite game? No, that would be Horizon Zero Dawn. But I do think HZD is a spiritual successor to Assassin's Creed, and that Assassin's Creed is a huge inspiration to many other games and is sort of fundamental to the hobby. So I'm trying to play all of them.
I missed out on a lot of gaming during my childhood because we just didn't have the money. The games still exist, are cheap now, and I have a job. Being an adult isn't so bad.
If those words mean nothing to you, you can also think of the game series as the Dear America middle grade novels but for young men. I was also very into those books.
This shrine exists partly because I can't keep everything in the franchise straight.

Games that might be a lost cause
A prequel to AC1. I don't own a DS and this game was removed from the Play store in 2013.
A direct sequel to AC1. I wanted a PSP pretty badly when they existed but I was either a child or broke for their lifespan.
Set during Assassin's Creed 2 between sequences 12 and 13. I'm not as sad about missing this one because I don't like Ezio.
Assassin's Creed: Project Legacy A now-defunct primarly text based Facebook game? God, I would have been all over this.
Assassin's Creed: Multiplayer Rearmed I suppose I could try to get this to play on my work iPhone and get fired.
Assassin's Creed: Recollection A now-defunct iPhone board game. I didn't hate the golden age of cell phone board games and am sad that I missed this one.

If I was going to learn French it would not be for a choose your own adventure story.
This is readily available, I just have a visceral aversion to escape rooms and I would rather learn French for a choose your own adventure story.
